The CIMA Global Business Challenge is an international competition designed to bring out the best in the young business leaders of tomorrow.

Open to undergraduates, it gives participants the opportunity to try their business management skills and expand their competitive talents. The winning team from each country-region competes in the global final.

How does it work?

The competition is run in three stages:

Stage one – case study analysis
An adapted CIMA test of professional competency will be distributed to your team upon team registration.

You’ll be required to analyse the case study based on a given scenario and submitting a 3000 word report. The scenario will also be available for download upon team registration. The link to all challenge material will be on the registration confirmation email.

Stage two – synopsis and presentation (country / regional final)

Four to six teams (depending on country / region) will be shortlisted at country or regional level. These shortlisted teams will be required to do the below:

- write a two page synopsis about their report

- give an oral presentation

- participate in a question and answer session with the judges at the end of each presentation.

* Depending on the country, there might be an additional stage before the country final. A country may be split into regions. Therefore participants will compete at regional level and the regional winners will then proceed to the country final.

Stage three – presentation (global final)
The winning team from each country or region will compete in the global final. They will be required to:

- submit their two page synopsis

- present to an audience, which includes a panel of high profile international judges

- participate in a question and answer session with the judges at the end of each presentation.

Who is it for?

Full time undergraduates doing their first degrees who are interested in business and finance.

It's an ideal opportunity to test your business management skills, build on your existing knowledge, showcase your ability and even get internship opportunities or graduate scheme entry from well known organisations.
