IMS2012 offers technical sessions, interactive forums, plenary and panel sessions, workshops, short courses, industrial exhibits, application seminars, historical exhibits, and a wide array of other technical and social activities including a guest program.
The Student Paper Competition will be held as part of the Symposium. Papers accepted for the competition will be judged on content and presentation. First, second, and third prizes will be awarded. To be considered for an award, the student must have been a full-time student during the time the work was performed, be the lead author, and must present the paper at the Symposium. During the submission process, the student is required to provide the e-mail address of the advisor, who will be asked to certify that the work is primarily that of the student.
Authors are invited to submit technical papers describing original work on radio-frequency, microwave, millimeter-wave, and terahertz (THz) theory and techniques. The deadline for submission is 5 December 2011. Papers should be three pages in length (PDF format), and should not exceed two megabytes in le size. Hardcopy and email submissions will not be accepted. Authors must adhere to the format provided in the conference paper template available on the symposium’s website. It is the authors’ responsibility to obtain all required company and government clearances prior to submission.
